Tunisian National Tourist Office
19 March 2015
The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the gutless terrorist attack committed on Wednesday, March 18 2015 in the National Bardo Museum. It is a heinous operation targeting the security, stability, successful democracy and the national economy of Tunisia.
We express a deep regret and sorrow for the loss of innocent lives. Also, we sincerely thank the enormous unity from friendly countries which expressed their solidarity in this difficult circumstance.
We are actively following the case through a crisis team to communicate as soon as possible all the expected information.
Supported by the Tunisian authorities, the forces of the country will continue to overcome the scourge of terrorism and move forward. Our purpose is to keep on building democracy and development in cooperation and coordination with the international community.
We encourage British tourists to follow the instructions of The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO).
